‘Friends’ Creators Confirm The Show Won’t Be Having A Reunion

Bad news for Friends fans who are hoping for a reunion!
The shows creators just confirmed that there will be no reunion or reboot of the massively popular show.
“We will not be doing a reunion show, we will not be doing a reboot. The show was about that time in life when friends are your family,” co-creator and executive producer Marta Kauffman said during the Tribeca TV Festival (via Deadline).
As for the reason behind her opposition to a reboot, she continued, “It’s not going to beat what we did.”
Co-creator and executive producer David Crane added, “We did the show we wanted to do. We got it right, and we put a bow on it.”
While fans won’t be getting any new episodes, they will be able to see the show in theaters later this year!
